Miss Isle's Capital Venture

My 2015 Challenge

CV_logo.pngI'll be setting off from Cowes on this year's challenge on the 23rd May. I will be sailing east along the coast past Dover and around, up the Thames and into the city of London. Then I am going to walk the square mile and hopefully collect some cheques from banks in the city. I'll be stopping off at Brighton, Eastbourne, Dover, Ramsgate, Queenborough, Gallions Point (Royal Albert Dock) and St Katherine Docks London.

I'll be hosting a charity event in London, you can download more info on that here.

I'm doing this to raise awareness of disabled sailing and raise funds for a charity we are setting up to teach other people to sail using sip-puff technology. We'll be using my Artemis 20 keelboat, that is converted for sip-puff sailing via single straw so other youngsters with similar needs to me can learn to sail too. The charity is still being set up, but you can support the challenge by sponsoring me through the Gofundme site, click here to donate online now.  Thanks for your support.

Welcome to the Miss Isle website

This site is all about a young lady called Natasha who is achieving her dreams through sailing. Despite being labelled 'disabled', having athertoid cerebral palsy, this is a story about being 'able'; able to achieve, able to take an active part in the community, able to achieve dreams...
